OMG it's days and days since I last posted! What has been happening then? Spent all day Saturday doing a first aid course, failing to blow up the resuscitation dolly's chest, but my bandaging was spectacular. The best bit was seeing how they do the cuts and wounds for Casualty et al - playdoh coloured with food dye, flattened out and glued on with pva glue, then make the 'cut' with a cocktail stick and paint the inside edges with food dye mixed with glycerine. Just the thing to give the Brownies nightmares for weeks. It's probably more a boy thing - I'm sure the Cubs would adore sticking fake cuts all over themselves, just to terrify their younger sisters. And their mums. Just as well I have girls then, eh? We can play 'hairdressers' and 'beauticians' and terrify Daddy when he gets home from work with our creative new hairstyles.
