smat.biz is delighted to report that the computer which has been very ill indeed for the past two and a half years has now been returned to (almost) full health thanks to Grant the Computer God and DH working out which hole to plug stuff in (and no, I'm going to resist the urge to make a smutty joke here because I am a grown-up, and we don't do that sort of thing).
The Tatsfield Temperance Society AGM is gathering momentum - a table has been booked under the name of "Pants", mostly so that when C turns up late, we can laugh at him telling the waiters he's with the pants party. S is using the occasion to celebrate her release from the hell of teaching 8 year olds, DH will have sat his final exam (ever???), and B is going on holiday for 2 weeks and won't be caring about the diet. Meanwhile I have to be sober and sensible as the next day I have to explain why there are no end-of-year accounts, draft or otherwise. The perils of being a grown-up.
