Fourth Time Lucky

Finally at the fourth attempt, Littlest Baby Smat managed to stay awake for last night's Fireworks Display at school. She wasn't overly impressed though - too loud, not enough "Tinkerbell sparkles" (whatever they may be), and she broke her neon necklace on the way home. I was relieved not to have to lug a sleeping child back to the car (approximately 17 miles up a muddy hilly road as the parking near the school is Officially Horrendous) and instead could focus on cursing (under my breath as the Baby Smats were in earshot) about the inconsiderateness of all the other drivers who couldn't seem to grasp the concept of Taking Turns at Driving on a Single Track Road (Single Track because of all the 4x4s abandoned along one side due to the Officially Horrendous parking situation at the school).
Never mind, we were allowed to saunter in to school late this morning which made for a nice relaxing morning. Until I decided to visit IKEA.......
