Smat came last in the Mothers Race

B and I were going to jog slowly at the back holding hands ("It's the taking part that counts") but she sprinted off, leaving me to trail in last. But PC gave me her I'm a Sports Star sticker so that's OK.
Survived Brownie Sleepover (tip: feed them constantly), survived scary meeting, and finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince before anyone else, so all in all, a successful weekend.
Still no gossip apart from general b*tching about over-competitive parents who moan because their little darling came fourth twice and didn't get a sticker. And I'm not going to mention that PC came first twice AND had a drawing in the programme, because I don't boast, oh no.
